Nashville’s newest sports bar on the block is set to open next week, offering a view of the city’s skyline, as well as a drink menu, food menu, and designated spaces for patrons to catch the game.
The Stacked Deck Sports Bar has partnered with Bridgestone to offer the area’s first live sports bar on the corner of First Avenue North and First Avenue South.
Formerly located at West End Tavern, the sports bar will be an extension of Stacked Deck, a Midtown pub which has been wildly popular among downtown patrons and locals in recent years. As the bar becomes a staple of downtown’s nightlife scene, it aims to serve a wide variety of crowds, offering a “uniquely urban experience on the block and in the downtown market” according to Co-Founder and CEO Winston Eiler.
With a focus on drinks and food, the new sports bar will feature a full bar, small bites, patio, games and activities for all ages, while also offering live sports viewing and game day specials.
Executive Chef and Co-Founder Jonny Sargent, formerly of Eiler’s Grand Cafe, states that the food menu will change daily based on what’s available and will always be “street-centric and small plates for sharing.”
Co-Founder and Co-CEO Virginia Mitchell adds, “We’re all about creating a social and neighborhood experience in a comfortable atmosphere. It’s also a major sports bar.”
The Stacked Deck Sports Bar also includes an expansive patio with outdoor seating on the corner of First Avenue North and First Avenue South, and plans to host a wide variety of events and activities, including concerts and tours of the Music City.
Sargent admits that the couple decided to open the pub with the intention of creating a one-of-a-kind venue. “It really had to be simple, functional, and affordable,” he says.
Sargent also believes the city’s newest sports bar will help “further integrate into the downtown community.”
“Downtown is the heartbeat of the city,” Sargent continues. “We’re thrilled to play a role
